We are in search of a Home Visiting Parent Educator for our Parents as Teachers program. You will be working with caregivers from pregnancy until keiki reaches kindergarten. Parent Educators meet with families once a week to go over child development, provide support and resources, and encouragement that parents need to help their keiki develop optimally during the crucial early years of life.
Parent Educators duties are:
Conduct screens and assessments for caregivers and children and utilize screens and assessments to individualize services.
Serve as a connector between the family and available community resources.
Maintain a consistent visit schedule with families.
Complete data collection requirements for all work performed.
Assist in the recruitment of families into our program.
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
Valid Driver’s License and a driver’s abstract
Home internet connection/Wi-Fi
High school diploma or GED equivalent; CDA, AA, or BA degree in early childhood or related field preferred
Minimum two (2) years in early education or health environments that demonstrates interaction with families and children together, and/or one (1) year home visiting experience preferred.

This is a full time position Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional evenings and/or weekends. Candidates must be present in the community in which you are applying to.
